Dear Journey Church Family,
In the next few days, we will either be experiencing the rains of Bonnie, or thinking, 'well, she missed us!'
To those of you who have reached out and reminded us to get water, chips, etc, for the possible storm... thanks! The Gulf South Storm Belt can be an unpredictable place!
As none of us are meteorologists, we'll just be posting here some good links to sources for tracking the storm, etc., as well as a place for you to put in your words of wisdom and connections in the comments sections.
Regarding Sunday, we will be having both Worship Services and Life Seminars as scheduled. In times like these, sleeping in can be soooo tempting. I want to encourage you to be faithful to the Lord this Sunday as we come together to worship Him. If Bonnie does hit and we have to worship from our homes, we'll coordinate together through e-mails, Facebook, and the church web-site.
In short, it looks like we'll have an extra percussionist in the band this week... the Lord God on the Rain Drum! It should make for a nice addition to worship!
